HP Slate to compete Apple iPad

What makes HP Slate superior over Apple iPad is the operating system it runs. HP Slate got its market base with the Windows 7 OS. With the multitude of Windows user, HP position itself at greater advantage in the market. The highlight feature of HPSlate is the different modes like ebook reader and movie player. Using Windows software will make the less technical Joe to embrace it but maybe a blunder to for the technical savvy. The market however are more on people who loves Windows, millions are familiar with its Start menu and other feature.
Of course HP will not release the Slate without the touch skin feature which is the coolness of iPad. But the question is, will HP beat the Apple's touch screen technology over this product? I doubt to it. If HP will push their product according to their touch screen technology then, I would rather stay with Apples. But knowing that HPSlate is running in Windows 7, I will certainly forget about Apple iPad. Yes Windows makes my life easy if you want to ask why.
